WHAT WE LOOK FOR DURING AUDITIONS:

Participation NOT Perfection.

If we know you: show us you have grown!

If you’re a new friend: don’t be afraid to show us who you are!

It’s okay to be nervous, but try to have fun! It’s called a “PLAY.”

Be kind and respectful to everyone you meet. The person next to you might just be your new BFF.

Pretend you’re on Broadway, because you’re closer than you think.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR DURING AUDITIONS:

Open Arts Alliance sees between 150 to 200 actors for each production throughout our season. We wish we could cast everyone- but performer safety is our chief concern.

We understand the disappointment that comes with the audition/interview process, however, we are committed to making every audition as fun as possible.

If you are not cast, we encourage all students to audition again, take a class or workshop and keep growing! Many of our most successful students needed a year to grow before they joined a cast. Keep your eye on the prize and try your best!
