Our programs travel to schools, healthcare facilities, and community centers across Connecticut bringing arts education to those who otherwise may not have access. Expert teaching artists lead participants in teamwork, empowerment, and creative problem solving.
The junior ensemble is an invited company of young artists. Under faculty guidance, students are charged with creating their own musical revue that will tour senior centers, assisted living communities, and rehabilitation facilities. Students are given direct instruction in volunteerism, specifically, working with the population of aging adults and veterans living with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

The art of creating without prior preparation, improvisation instills spontaneous thinking and creativity. Students of all capacities have the ability to partake in this program, proven to sharpen one’s mind and wit by the session’s end. “Yes, and…” Improv includes an introduction of basic improvisational games, classic theatre warm-ups, partner and ensemble work, and development of character. Appropriate for all ages.
“Broadway By The Year” covers some of the biggest titles in musical theatre from the 1920s to today. This program includes an introduction to theatre warm-ups, sing-alongs, and film clips documenting these shows. Students will gain a heightened understanding of theatre history, as well as a deepened appreciation for the uniquely-American art form, the Broadway musical. Appropriate for all ages.
Meet Maria, an elementary school student, who navigates the twists and turns of understanding her own feelings. all the ins and outs of understanding her own feelings and negotiate the feelings of others.
In one 45-minute assembly, characters will touch on all of the cornerstones of Social Emotional Learning with comedy, puppets and kindness.
Our 3 assembly package will take our characters on an in-depth look at how to deal with the daily trials of being social and emotional creatures.
