Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award-winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie JR.features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure.

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Our mainstage musical is a tuition based program for only those cast. This allows OAA to continue to bring high caliber programs for students and seniors.

We are dedicated to everyone enjoying the arts, which is why the cost of our mainstage musical is subsided. The actual cost is $1200 per student. It is because of our wonderful donors we are able to offer this experience to as many students as possible at a lower cost.

If you would like to support and sponsor another student consider paying the full tuition of $1200. Your sponsorship will create a scholarship for those students who would other wise not be able to participate. In addition, anything after the subsidized cost is tax-deductible.

Subsidized Cost:
$285

Commitment:

Our mainstage production is a one semester commitment with Auditions, Rehearsals, and Performances.
Rehearsals are held 2 times per week in the evenings and weekends from January and to April.

Financial Aid:

There are a limited number of scholarships each year that range from partial, half, and full tuition coverage. Financial aid is awarded on need basis, number of applications, and amount of funding available.

If you are seeking financial aid, please email us at Info@openartsalliance.com for more information.
